FOREX REVIEW
A useful forex journal should connect the trade record with the pair, session, setup, risk, and account context that shaped the decision.
01 / PAIR & DIRECTION
Record the currency pair, long or short direction, size, entry and exit, fees, setup, notes, and supporting screenshots or links. Multiple executions can stay attached to the same trade.
02 / RISK & SESSION
Attach risk and behavioral rules to the trade, then note the session or market context that mattered. A profitable trade can still break the plan; a controlled loss can still reflect discipline.
03 / FILTER & COMPARE
Use the calendar, equity curve, account views, tags, symbols, direction, P&L ranges, and rule-compliance filters to compare similar forex trades without mixing unrelated accounts.
WORKFLOW
1
Log the pair, direction, size, entries, exits, and fees while the execution details are still clear.
2
Record the setup, thesis, planned risk, target, tags, session context, and notes that explain why the trade existed.
3
Compare related trades by pair, direction, account, tag, date range, P&L range, and rule compliance.
4
Write one specific process change for the next forex session instead of collecting vague lessons.
