INFORMATION WE PROCESS

We process information you provide when creating and using an account, including account details, journal entries, trade records, notes, rules, imported files, support messages, and settings. We may also process device, log, and usage information needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

Stripe processes payments and related billing information. StonkJournal does not need to store full payment-card details. Google Analytics may process device, browser, and interaction information subject to the analytics configuration and your available browser controls.

HOW INFORMATION IS USED

Information is used to provide and secure the service, authenticate accounts, calculate journal metrics, deliver requested features, respond to support, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve product reliability and usability.

SERVICE PROVIDERS

StonkJournal uses Supabase for hosting and database services, Stripe for payments, Google for analytics, and OpenAI and Anthropic for AI features. A provider receives information only when its service is needed—for example, relevant prompt and journal context may be sent to the selected AI provider when you use an AI feature. Providers process information under their own applicable terms and retention schedules.

DATA RETENTION, EXPORT, AND DELETION

CSV and Excel exports are available through the product. Self-service deletion removes the account and associated data from StonkJournal’s active application database. Limited copies may remain temporarily in provider backups, security logs, payment records, or systems subject to legal and fraud-prevention requirements, after which they are deleted according to the applicable provider’s retention schedule.

Backup copies are generally retained for approximately 7–30 days, depending on the provider and plan. Payment, security, fraud-prevention, and legally required records may be kept longer where necessary.

YOUR CHOICES

You may access, correct, export, or delete information using available account controls. If a control is unavailable or you need assistance, contact info@stonkjournal.com. Support aims to respond within 24 hours, but this is a service target rather than a guaranteed response time.

SECURITY

StonkJournal uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your credentials and contact support if you believe your account has been compromised.

AGE LIMIT

StonkJournal is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old. The service is not directed to children.
