04 / DELETE THE ACCOUNT
Self-service deletion removes the account and associated data from StonkJournal’s active application database. Limited copies may remain temporarily in provider backups, security logs, payment records, or systems subject to legal and fraud-prevention requirements, after which they are deleted according to the applicable provider’s retention schedule. Backup copies are generally retained for approximately 7–30 days.
WHAT PRODUCT BEHAVIOR CONFIRMS
When an AI feature is used, relevant prompt and journal context may be sent per request to OpenAI or Anthropic to produce the requested response. Provider-specific processing and retention terms apply to the configured service.
PROVIDER-SPECIFIC TERMS
StonkJournal uses OpenAI and Anthropic for AI features. A provider receives relevant information only when its service is used. Review the Privacy Notice for the broader list of service providers and data practices.
EXPORT + DELETION
Exports are available in CSV and Excel formats. Use the self-service controls in account settings to export before deleting an account. Deletion removes account data from the active application database, while limited provider backups and required records may remain temporarily under the retention terms described above.

Does the AI receive the whole database?
No. The coach calls defined tools that query the user’s own trade statistics rather than receiving the whole database.
Is trade data used to train a model?
No. Trade data is sent per request to produce an answer and is not used to train any model.
Are AI conversations stored?
Yes. Conversations are stored in the user’s own account so they can be revisited, and they are deleted with the account.
Which providers support the service?
Supabase supports hosting and database services, Stripe processes payments, Google supports analytics, and OpenAI or Anthropic may process relevant requests when an AI feature is used. See the Privacy Notice and account deletion/export guide for more detail.
